You can use your business or technology skills to help local small business owners keep their doors open and save local jobs. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many small businesses to drastically reduce, alter, or even cease operations. Volunteers can help small owners navigate the local, state, federal, and non-profit resources available to help save their businesses. UMB is currently recruiting Security Officers and Custodial Technician I candidates. This event is for interested applicants who need help with their online applications. Our computer lab is available to access the online applications. The application is impossible to do on a smart phone. The positions will be posted at www.umaryland.edu/jobs. We are looking for volunteers who know their way around a computer including downloading and uploading from email or flash drives.
