Career Speaker Series @ George Washington Elementary
Come share information about your career choice with kindergarten through 5th graders at one of UMB's partner k12 schools, George Washington Elementary School. Speakers can volunteer for either (or both) of two morning sessions, 8:45 - 9:45 for kindergarten through 2nd graders and 10 - 11am for 3rd - 5th graders. Jubilee Arts – Classroom Assistant Volunteers Needed
Intersection of Change is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing poverty related issues in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood. Their Jubilee Arts fine art program is seeking volunteers from 3pm - 7pm (Mon - Fri) to: Assist staff members in preparing for class sessions or end of day sessions Engage with staff with regard to how students are working in classrooms Support and Engaging with students Distributing supplies for classroom activities Background checks are required for all volunteers.
