Fifty fifth-grade students from James McHenry and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, facilitated by the Partnership for West Baltimore, visited the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in celebration of Black History Month in February 2017. Our faculty, staff, and students volunteered as chaperones, and everyone had a great time.
UMMC donated a new washer and dryer to James McHenry Elementary/Middle School for their School Uniform Borrowing Program. This initiative helps increase student attendance and performance as well as self-esteem.
We will be adding more opportunities to volunteer as chaperones for future school trips and other opportunities in our volunteer section. Check back periodically to get the latest updates.
