Kids to Farmers Market Series-UMB Campus Visit
Kids to Farmers’ Market (KTFM) is an interactive event that teaches children about healthy foods and healthy eating. Kids to Farmers’ Market program aims to teach children about nutrition and how to make healthy choices through hands-on learning. Join us and volunteer on Tuesdays in October at UMMC Plaza's Farmers Market as local elementary children participate in this healthy eating programming. Community partner, SoWhatElse, has joined forces with UMB's Community Engagement Center (CEC) to bring vaccinations and food distribution to families in West Baltimore. Volunteers are needed to direct neighbors to predetermined stations, share provided information/resources and support neighbors receiving resources. This community event is perfect for UMB students with a career focus in the health and human services.

The UMB Office of Community Engagement (OCE) is looking for volunteers to support Community Meals. Our Community Meals bring neighbors together with University students and employees. We provide a sit-down meal from local restaurants for anybody that wants to stop by and learn opportunities at the Community Engagement Center (CEC). The time commitment is 2 hours.
