ABAE Tutoring
A Bridge to Academic Excellence (ABAE) is a student organization at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy whose mission is to provide tutoring services for high school students in the Baltimore area. Student volunteers from the Schools of Pharmacy, Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Graduate Studies at University of Maryland, Baltimore serve as ABAE tutors for grades 9-12. --Volunteers are needed for the Cookie Tour on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 11:30 am - 2pm and 2:00pm - 4:30pm. Docents will assist guests with the homes to help them identify which areas are open for viewing. Some homeowners will have them stand at the door to welcome guests. Volunteer Opportunity – Judges Needed
James McHenry Elementary/Middle School is in need of 10 judges for their History Day on February 5, 2026. The 10 volunteer judges will be judging student's presentations.
