The UMB Office of Community Engagement invites faculty and post docs to host a local k-12 student with an interest in healthcare career for the Summer BioScience Internship Program (SBIP). K-12 Virtual Speakers Bureau
REQUIREMENTS: Availability (as your schedule permits) to virtually speak one or two times minimum during the academic year in one of 12 schools within a square mile of UMB. Virtual speaking engagements will be held from September through June between 9am - 5pm (may include afterschool programming). Help bring literature to local students by reading a story and submitting it to us! We will have a YouTube playlist for all videos. To complete this project, you only need a book suitable for children and a way to record video. When you register, you’ll receive additional information, including how to submit your video.
