Help welcome students back on the first day of school! Create a poster on a 4x6 or 5x7 sheet of paper. These posters will be placed on student lockers to help get them excited for the school year.

Career Speaker Series @ George Washington Elementary
Come share information about your career choice with kindergarten through 5th graders at one of UMB's partner k12 schools, George Washington Elementary School. Speakers can volunteer for either (or both) of two morning sessions, 8:45 - 9:45 for kindergarten through 2nd graders and 10 - 11am for 3rd - 5th graders. To complete this project, you only need a book suitable for children and a way to record video. When you register, you’ll receive additional information, including how to submit your video. After-School STEM Program Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed to support after-school STEM programming at Mother Mary Lange, UMB's newest k-12 neighbor and partner in West Baltimore! Beginning February 21, 2022, volunteers are needed between 3:00 and 4:30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to assist students with research, building and designing assigned STEM projects and assist lead teacher with classroom management and behavior monitoring, classroom setup and cleanup for activities, chaperoning for field trips to the UMB campus monitoring dismissal and parent pickup and organizing supplies.
