Underground Railroad Exhibit
Underground Railroad Exhibit Volunteer In 2021, the B&O Railroad Museum became an officially designated Underground Railroad site. 27 freedom seekers are known to have used the B&O Railroad system to flee slavery, 8 of whom passed directly through the Mount Clare Station, where the Museum is located. Baltimore Children’s Business Fair
At the Baltimore Children’s Business Fair event, kids will create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers, and any parent seen selling to the customer or promoting the child’s product will result in disqualification from the competition.

UMB partners with the P-TECH School at Dunbar to support high school students who are simultaneously pursuing both an associate degree and High School Diploma and who are interested in health professions.
