Jubilee Arts – Classroom Assistant Volunteers Needed
Intersection of Change is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing poverty related issues in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood. Their Jubilee Arts fine art program is seeking volunteers from 3pm - 7pm (Mon - Fri) to: Assist staff members in preparing for class sessions or end of day sessions Engage with staff with regard to how students are working in classrooms Support and Engaging with students Distributing supplies for classroom activities Background checks are required for all volunteers.

Underground Railroad Exhibit
Underground Railroad Exhibit Volunteer In 2021, the B&O Railroad Museum became an officially designated Underground Railroad site. 27 freedom seekers are known to have used the B&O Railroad system to flee slavery, 8 of whom passed directly through the Mount Clare Station, where the Museum is located. At the Baltimore Children’s Business Fair event, kids will create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace.
