Project Feast is a student organization at the University of Maryland School of Medicine that is putting together a free Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Middle School for the underserved population of Baltimore. Volunteer(s) to Assist with Community Meals
Community Meals are an opportunity for community members, UMB students, faculty and staff to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal together from a local restaurant while learning more about opportunities offered by the Office of Community Engagement and our local partners. Community meal occur quarterly and alternate between lunch and dinner. Registration is required to volunteer for community meals. Vintage Gardens is hosting the "Night Before Christmas" for children in our community! Their goal is to provide each child with: A pair of pajamas Cookie dough & cookie cutters Hot chocolate & a mug Consider donating your time on December 19th as a Christmas Helper.! Helper jobs include 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm: Help with event setup and box preparation. 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Assist during the event and distribute boxes to families.
