Lori's Hands is an intergenerational service learning experience. Students make weekly visits to community members with chronic diseases to assist with daily activities and, in turn, learn about the real life experience of chronic illness. Volunteers grocery shop, do yard work, light cleaning and organizing; they even come just for a friendly visit. Volunteers typically serve one time per week for a 1 - 2 hour visit.
