Intersection of Change is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing poverty related issues in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood. Their Martha's Place facility is a transitional housing community that exists to help women overcome addiction and homelessness and is seeking volunteers to assist with gardening maintenance and planting flowers/plants. Martha's Place also seeks guest speakers. These volunteer opportunities occur on Wednesdays between 4pm and 5pm.Find out more »

Their Jubilee Arts fine art program is seeking volunteers from 3pm - 7pm (Mon - Fri) to: Assist staff members in preparing for class sessions or end of day sessions Engage with staff with regard to how students are working in classrooms Support and Engaging with students Distributing supplies for classroom activities Background checks are required for all volunteers.Find out more »
