SUMMARY:Y- Fresh Mart Volunteering
DESCRIPTION:The Y has partnered with the Maryland Food Bank to open a community-based food pantry in Central West Baltimore. They are recruiting volunteers to serve as part of a team to support customers\, stock\, sort and other tasks surrounding the food pantry’s opening and ongoing operation. The Druid Hill Fresh Mart is open three days a week: Mondays from 10-1\, Tuesdays from 3-6\, and Saturdays 11-2. We serve over 150 families a week and couldn’t do it without the support of our incredible volunteers! \nAll volunteers must register through ymaryland.volunteermatters.org\, search “fresh mart”\, and add themselves to the individual shifts.
