SUMMARY:Trick or Treat with UMB
DESCRIPTION:The University of Maryland (UMB) Community Engagement Center will be hosting our second annual Trick or Treat event to close our “Spookapalooza: A Week of Halloween at the CEC”! Come join us for a delightful and spooky afternoon of giving back to our West Baltimore community. Community members will be able to trick their way through more than 20 booths of delicious treats\, and enjoy games\, crafts\, scavenger hunts\, a Halloween raffle\, and more! Volunteers are needed to fill any volunteer roles below or you can decorate a table to create a truly Spooktacular display\, then hand out some delicious treats to the little ghosts and ghouls that come out to play! Costumes are optional\, but encouraged. \nThis event takes place on Friday\, October 27th from 4:30pm – 6:00pm at 873 Baltimore Street (the parking lot at West Baltimore and South Poppleton Street. \nHere are the volunteering roles:\n1. Setup (3-4p.m.): assist with setting up booths\, signage\, games and activities\n2. Registration support (3:15-4:15p.m.): assist tabling groups to check-in and find their assigned table locations\n3. Greeter (4:15-5:45p.m.): greet all community members entering event and provide supplies (including maps and trick or treating bags)\n4. Activity volunteer (4-6p.m.): assist with running activities such as games\, temporary tattoos\, crafts\, raffles\, etc.\n5.
