DESCRIPTION:Scrap Creative Reuse\, a donation-based reuse store and donation center is located at 913 W. Barre Street\, in West Baltimore. They are open Wednesday through Sunday\, from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity\, please see the volunteer requirements listed here: https://baltimore.scrapcreativereuse.org/Apply-to-Volunteer. \nTo become a volunteer\, you must first fill out the volunteer application: https://baltimore.scrapcreativereuse.org/Volunteer-General-Application. \nImportant Notes\nBackground Check: A standard national criminal background check is required for some of our volunteer positions. All volunteers must be willing to complete a background check form. \nCommunity Service Hours: This program cannot be used to fulfill court-ordered hours. \nStudents: It is a challenge for us to accommodate students who are required to fulfill short-term community service hours. We request that\, if your service commitment is less than three months in duration\, you consider continuing to volunteer at SCRAP to make our standard three-month commitment of 6 hours per month. \nShort-Term: We do not accept short-term volunteers. Because we require extensive training\, we do not accept short-term volunteers except during our Drop-In Volunteering times and Group Volunteering opportunities.
