Civic Works Volunteer

There are a variety of ways you can volunteer with Civic Works to make a difference in Baltimore.

Volunteer at Real Food Farm – We are always looking for individuals and groups to volunteer at our urban farm. We have regularly scheduled volunteer hours every Wednesday from 9am – 12pm and every second and third Saturday of the month from 9am – 12pm. From March to November, we host open volunteer hours on Thursdays from 4:30pm – 7pm at our Real Food Farm site.

Transform Vacant Lots – All work is outdoors, physically intense, usually dirty and we will be working in city neighborhoods with potentially limited access to bathrooms and food.

Volunteer Handyperson – Volunteers visit elders’ homes and complete small repair projects like painting yard work, repairing sliding closet doors or caulking sinks/tubs.

Legacy Tour Guide – On the third Saturday of each month, the mansion comes alive with stories thanks to committed tour guides who love history and sharing it.
