DESCRIPTION:There are a variety of ways you can volunteer with Civic Works to make a difference in Baltimore. \nVolunteer at Real Food Farm – We are always looking for individuals and groups to volunteer at our urban farm. We have regularly scheduled volunteer hours every Wednesday from 9am – 12pm and every second and third Saturday of the month from 9am – 12pm. From March to November\, we host open volunteer hours on Thursdays from 4:30pm – 7pm at our Real Food Farm site. \nTransform Vacant Lots – All work is outdoors\, physically intense\, usually dirty and we will be working in city neighborhoods with potentially limited access to bathrooms and food. \nVolunteer Handyperson – Volunteers visit elders’ homes and complete small repair projects like painting yard work\, repairing sliding closet doors or caulking sinks/tubs. \nLegacy Tour Guide – On the third Saturday of each month\, the mansion comes alive with stories thanks to committed tour guides who love history and sharing it. \nVolunteer Group Application – If you wish to bring a volunteer group of 5 or more\, apply here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdqa6NPj9wkkG4sVmLIgpKQd8ZWVbhv1vq7HK9altCyNAbK8w/viewform \nVolunteer Waivers – Civic Works Online Volunteer Waiver.
