Cash Campaign Volunteer Greeter

The Cash Campaign at the UMB Community Engagement Center (CEC) is looking for volunteer greeters.

The CASH Campaign of Maryland promotes economic advancement for low-to moderate income individuals and families in Baltimore and across the state.  They will again offer free tax preparation services at the Community Engagement Center, so working families can avoid costly tax prep fees and maximize their refund.

The main responsibilities of volunteer greeters are to welcome families when they arrive, help them navigate the process and provide general office support. Other duties include ensure that clients have all the necessary documents, notify staff when a client has completed their paperwork and is ready to be served, and answer incoming phone calls and respond to voicemails.

We offer two shifts each day (9:00am – 1:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm), five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday).

The Cash Campaign is located at the Community Engagement Center, 16 S. Poppleton Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
