Chapter One TutorMate-Virtual Volunteering
You can become a tutor and work with a student each week for 30 minutes. Volunteers read a story with their assigned student, ask questions to see how well their student understands the story, and plays word games as well as activities. All reading and activities are designed to be appropriate for the student’s reading level.

We are now accepting Volunteer Tutor applications for the 2024-2025 school year! Give back to your community and earn community service hours at the same time! Reading Partners Baltimore is looking for volunteers 14 years and older to provide one-on-one reading support to local elementary students. You’ll tutor for one hour per week for at least one semester at one of our 14 different partner schools. Tutoring sessions are available as early as 8am and as late as 3pm. Want…
