Fostering Vital Neighborhoods: Community Capacity-Building Conference

The South Baltimore Gateway Partnership is sponsoring a free, day-long conference maximizing learning and networking opportunities for area grant seekers, grantmakers, community-focused nonprofits, and organizations seeking partners to develop programs that foster great neighborhoods in South Baltimore and beyond. CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS:
• Dr. Karsonya Whitehead, author, professor, and award-winning radio host of Today With Dr. Kaye on WEAA, delivers a keynote address and leads a community-mapping workshop.
• Erricka Bridgeford, founder of Baltimore Ceasefire, offers inspiration and advice on volunteerism and leadership.
• Small-group workshops on strategic planning, fundraising, performance measures, and more support attendees’ capacity-building goals.
• Networking opportunities and resources help attendees connect with prospective collaborators and valuable information.
